Bob’s Blog - Reference Audio are pleased to announce a McIntosh and Sonus Faber Open Day event on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th May 2022.

Open days have become rare events in the last two years so for us to host two in the same month is something really special and Reference Audio with our partners Fine Sounds are pleased to announce this prestigious and exciting occasion.

Reference Audio based in Witham, Essex will be putting on this event with our partners from Fine Sounds in attendance throughout the event to give advice on the McIntosh, Sonus Faber and IsoTek products they distribute in the UK and to answer any questions you may have.

The open days will utilise the full extent of our 5 permanent demo rooms with our main Reference Room featuring the amazing McIntosh 901 monoblocs which are rarely seen in the UK together with appropriately sized speakers from Sonus Faber. Our three upstairs demo rooms will be featuring a variety of McIntosh, Sonus Faber and IsoTek products on live demonstration and during the afternoons we will be firing up our Cinema Room with its 7.4.4 channel McIntosh system showcasing a full McIntosh AV rig comprising MC255 five channel amp, MI128 eight channel amp and MX100 AV Processor and our 4m wide screen and six-pack subs.

We’ll also have the brand-new Sonus Faber Omnia Wireless Speaker on demo, all the press hype for this remarkable device is true so come and listen for yourself.

Over the two-day event we’ll be showcasing the following products plus others still being planned for:

McIntosh – MC901 Monoblocs, MC1.25K Monoblocs, MC462 Stereo Power Amp, C2700, C1100, C12000, C53, MA5300, MA252 x 2, MA352 x 2, MA12000, MA9000, MHA200, MC830 and C8 Preamp.

Sonus Faber – Sonetto V, Sonetto VIII, Lumina 1, Olympica Nova III, Olympica Nova I, Amati Tradition, Serafino Tradition, Electa Amator III

IsoTek – Their new V5 Aquarius and V5 Titan plus other products.

You’re welcome to join Bob, Adam, Mitch and Fine Sounds for our Open Day event, we have lots of off-street parking available, great coffee and refreshments. You’ll also be able to see and hear many of the other products we have on permanent display.
